Since 2019 we are a LP at the Amsterdam-based Startupbootcamp FinTech & CyberSecurity program (SBC FinTech Amsterdam 1921 B.V), which is the first-ever, publicly-listed accelerator in the world!

In 2015 we have co-founded primeCROWD, which has become Austia’s largest business angel network in 2020, now expanding to Germany and Switzerland. Gateway Ventures actively supports Startups in their preparation process to acquire investors and manages this with an dedicated group of international experts. 

In 2018 we have invested in handcheque, a company dedicated to simplify your life by unifying all your payment, credit, loyalty card in one smart and single card, which includes a touchscreen. With this solution the company will provide banks and merchants a highly innovate proposition for their clients.

FINTECHMATTERS is the first and largest internationally oriented FinTech focused summit in Austria with more than 300 FinTech experts participating in 2019. Since 2017 FINTECHMATTERS gathers innovators from the financial services industry like financial institutions, investors, decision-makers and multiplicators of the European FinTech Ecosystems. It is the event to discover international business opportunities and discuss trends in the global financial services industry. 

As a direct result of the community work for FINTECHMATTERS, together with FINTECH Austria, Vienna Business Agency and Austria’s Bankers Association we have co-initiated the FinTechWeek Vienna in Nov. 2017. In 2019 the FTW Vienna had more than 2,000 participants, it included various Meetups, the FINTECHMATTERS Summit and a FinTech Hackathon.
